Amanda & Jake

Amanda and Jake are married! Yay! And what a beautiful wedding it was! For their colors Amanda chose mint, shades of pink and gold. (I always love pink bowties on the guys!) I photographed Amanda’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and was thrilled when Amanda asked me to photograph her wedding as well. Amanda and Jake were married at the lovely Cross Keys Vineyard in Cross Keys, Virginia and the weather just couldn’t have been better for an outdoor wedding in April. Getting married out of doors in April can be a little tricky but they hit the jackpot on their day… low to mid 70s and no rain at all. These two met through a mutual friend and they knew it was something special when their first date lasted 6 hours over dinner and drinks! Amanda and Jake, you make the sweetest couple and I am so glad that I was able to witness your commitment of love. I wish for you many exciting, happy, and wonderful years together. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your special day!
