I was honored to be invited to photograph Amy and Scott’s beautiful “navy and pink” wedding at the James Madison University Arboretum. Wow! Talk about gorgeous! The day was just perfect… even with raindrops falling during the ceremony and with the threat of a thunderstorm coming our way, it was still perfect. With an outside wedding planned, uncertain weather can make for some quick last minute decisions, but Amy and Scott had no worries at all. They were just as calm and cool as they could be and were going on with their special day as planned. They were so ready to be married. The lovely JMU arboretum made for an appropriate venue for their wedding day since these two met at JMU when they were both enrolled in a reading Master’s Program. Amy teaches first grade and Scott is a fourth grade teacher. I am so glad that I was able to meet this sweet couple. Amy and Scott, I wish for you many wonderful years together and a long life filled with good health and lots of happiness!
Love,
Gayle
