Marilea & Jesse Married | Hobson House B&B

When I started my photography business last year I never thought I’d be interested in photographing weddings, but after attending a few wedding workshops to see what it was all about, I instantly fell in love! So when Marilea called and asked me to photograph her wedding, I was just so ready to get started. What a ton of emotions I experienced that day…excitement, nervousness, happiness, love, satisfaction and exhaustion! And I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful son, Clark, as my second shooter and assistant. Thank you, Clark!

I so enjoyed meeting this sweet couple…Marilea and Jesse. What a stunning bride Marilea made and what a beautiful family she has. Marilea and Jesse chose to be married at a quaint little B&B called the Hobson House, which is located in Churchville, Virginia. Being a part of their celebration with family and friends was such a great way to put my new skills as a wedding photographer to the test. And what a lovely outdoor wedding they had! Thank you Marilea and Jesse for allowing me to photograph your lovely outdoor Virginia wedding!
