This sweet “Memory Lane Vow Renewal” styled shoot took place at the lovely Cross Keys Barn in Harrisonburg, Virginia. My daughter-in-law Brooke, with North Star Events, did it again! Jill and Charlie have been married for 33 years and were thrilled when Brooke asked them if they would be so kind to model for her Memory Lane Vow Renewal styled shoot. Jill and Charlie’s original vows were handwritten on fabric and hung from a beam alongside gorgeous flower arrangements sitting on wine barrels and apple crates. Some of their photographs of the two of them years ago were placed inside of mason jars and helped line “memory lane” along with floating candles and rose petals. These two decided not to see each other in their wedding attire beforehand and decided they would like to do a “first look”. They were both so adorable during the first look when Jill tapped Charlie on the shoulder and he turned around and saw his beautiful bride of 33 years in a beautiful wedding gown. I think they might have been just as excited the second time around! After their vow renewal, Jill and Charlie went downstairs to enjoy delicious cupcakes and to toast 33 happy years of marriage with champagne in their original “bride” and “groom” toasting glasses from their wedding. Jill and Charlie, Congratulations on 33 years of marriage and I wish for you 33 more years of happiness together!
Congratulations Jill & Charlie!
