Joy and Marshall are engaged! These two both grew up working on family farms in the Shenandoah Valley and were both in the 4H club. They first met when they were participating in a 4H livestock judging contest. Marshall showed cattle, sheep and hogs through FFA and Joy showed hogs through 4H and FFA. With all of their time spent working on farms, they both agreed that their engagement shoot had to take place on a farm! We met at Marshall’s family cattle farm in Weyers Cave, Virginia where he grew up and where he currently works. It was so interesting to me to see and hear all about this large cattle operation that Marshall helps to run. It was a cold day for an outdoor photo shoot but the sun was shining and we were able to warm up a bit in Marshall’s truck as we drove around the farm from one location to another. Joy and Marshall make the sweetest couple and I loved hanging out with these two and learning more about their farming experiences. Enjoy some of my favorites from the farm.
